Gahran’s observation that news organizations must concentrate on developing content for mobile devices rings true especially for those news organizations that have already established a presence on the web, and are looking to expand their audience further.
There is a large market for mobile content providers – there are few consumers who leave the house without a cell phone these days – and with it, considerable potential to generate additional revenue through personalized content, advertising, or other location-based services.
